All of these processes have been written up in these forums - just do a quick search and you should be able to find all the answers you need. As for 'refinishing', when I called, Ping said it would include:sand blasting, tumbling, and ding removal. This is an easy fix, though, so long as you oil your putter on a semi-frequent basis (especially after a round in the rain).
